Précision sur l'inscription :	Epitaphe gravée : cy gissent et reposent les corps de François de Simoy Vigeron et Geneviève Breton sa femme lesquels ont donné à perpétuité à l'église de Saint Germain de Nozay trois arpents et un quartier de terre labourable par testament passé devant Nicolas Le Fébvre notaire Royal à Montlhéry le 6 janvier 1689 à la charge de dire 4 messes et 2 saluts, savoir une messe haute le jour de Sainte Geneviève, une messe basse le jour du Saint Sacrement et le salut le même jour. Une messe haute et le salut le jour de Saint Germain, et une messe basse le 14ème jour d'octobre à la charge que les marguilliers seront tenus de faire acquitter la dite fondation dont les dites messes et saluts seront annoncés le dimanche d'auparavant. le tout pour le repos de leurs âmes et de la famille. Cette épitaphe a été posée par les soins de Claude de Simoy veuve de Claude Petit et de Jean Petit son fils et de Marguerite de Simoy, veuve de Louis Trouillet et son fils le 20 octobre 1725. Requiescat in Pace.
